Sylvia Lee is a New York based former software engineer and fashion designer turned UX and Product Designer who works with companies of all sizes - from small startups to large enterprises. She helps these companies understand their core customers’ digital interaction behaviors, motivations, and designs solutions to help the end user and the business to achieve their goals in the most effective and desirable way.
Believing in the importance of design solutions that are easy to understand, Sylvia navigates and helps fulfil the end user’s goals seamlessly. Having been an entrepreneur herself, she understands the dynamic relationship between the different facets of a business and its customers.
Sylvia has thrived in design and engineering her whole life. From her first job as a software engineer for the Australian Defense to working at Cincom, the first software company in the world, to fashion design for companies such as Ralph Lauren, and now as a UX and Product Designer.
Sylvia has won multiple awards in the area of business, entrepreneurship and fashion design including two Designer of the Year awards. She has also been featured in a New York documentary, television programming, international newspapers, magazines, radio and blogs.
With an Honours Degree in Software Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Fashion Design from the Sydney Institute, and Diploma in Business Management, Sylvia has studied and worked in Seoul, South Korea, to Sydney, Australia, and New York, USA.
When not working, Sylvia can be found traveling across the world on adventures, hiking, diving the oceans, playing in a New York orchestra, running mid distance races or volunteering for various charity organizations.
